After a lack of snowfall delayed its opening, the newest chairlift at the home of Idaho’s best snow is now spinning.

Last Friday, Brundage Mountain Resort opened the Centennial Express, a new high-speed detachable quad chairlift. This has replaced the old Centennial triple chairlift, leading to a reduction in ride time from 16 minutes to 6 minutes. In addition, it will help spread out guests who typically ride on the Bluebird Express chairlift.

Lots of other notable improvements are on the way for Brundage. Some of the additions that are coming in the next few years include a new Mountain Adventure Center and a small residential community. Brundage’s approved master plan includes multiple terrain expansions and new lifts.
